Project Description

Lloyd Consulting was engaged to undertake an independent Environmental Due Diligence Audit at the completion of the first year of operations of a steaming coal mining and processing operation in the Hunter Valley, NSW.

Services Provided

The conduct of the audit required as an assessment of the current performance of the Wambo Coal Development against the Development Consent Conditions. Lloyd Consulting also provided recommendations for any actions required to address any non-conformances and / or identified matters for resolution in preparation for the first scheduled statutory audit of the development.

The project involved the preparation of an audit protocol document based on Development Consent conditions, an audit of required documents, collation and review of stakeholder input, a site based audit and the preparation of an audit report including recommendations and corrective action requests.

Key skills utilised in the delivery of this project include the achievement of regulatory approvals, site auditing, stakeholder input coordination and project management.
