Waterloo Junction Audit
Waterloo Junction is a 1.5 hectare commercial and retail precinct located within the Fortitude Valley’s urban renewal area. It is a multi-staged development that includes the refurbishment of the historic Waterloo Hotel. Waterloo Junction Stage 2, 1019 Ann Street, Newstead, will be the second stage of the master planned precinct located in the heart of the Fortitude Valley’s emerging urban renewal precinct.
Lloyd Consulting was engaged to assist with the management of contamination issues within the overall precinct and to provide audit services. Tasks included:
- Undertaking site inspections during site investigation / monitoring and remediation works;
- Review of contamination investigation reports;
- Evaluation of environmental and health risk assessment reports; and
- Provision of support for implementation and validation of site management plan/remediation action plans for the proposed development stages.
