Our staff - our experience

Trevor Lloyd is the Director of Lloyd Consulting with 20 years environmental assessment and management experience, including co-ordination roles for major natural resource management projects in Australia for the Commonwealth, State and Local Governments and the mining and industrial sectors. His project experience has included a wide range of government, industry and community stakeholders and extensive consultation and consensus building activities. Trevor holds a First Class Honours Degree in Applied Science from the University of Queensland and a Master of Engineering Science from the University of New South Wales. He has additional training in contaminated land assessment, health and safety, risk management and quality assurance. He is a nationally accredited environmental auditor and QEPA Third Party Reviewer.

Dr Greg Swain is a Senior Environmental Engineer with 10 years experience in environmental assessment, management and monitoring. Greg holds environmental engineering qualifications (BE (Environ-Hons), PhD) from the University of Queensland and has worked on a number of major projects for a variety of private and public sector clients. He has delivered a range of environmental services and products in the areas of environmental auditing and risk assessment, contaminated land management, environmental and ecological monitoring. Greg has additional training in groundwater resource and contaminant fate and transport modeling and is experienced in QEPA Third Party Review processes and technical requirements.

Michael has over 21 years experience in contaminated land management and remediation, human health and environmental risk assessment, environmental / analytical chemistry and industrial hygiene. Michael is an Environmental Auditor (Contaminated Land), as appointed by the Environment Protection Authority Victoria and is recognised as a Suitably Qualified Person (SQP) and Third Party Reviewer (TPR) in Queensland.

Philip Lloyd is a Senior Software Engineer, with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical – Computer Systems) Hons I from The University of Queensland. Philip has over ten years experience in systems analysis, requirements modelling, system architecture, design, implementation, deployment and support, and management of the software development lifecycle. The projects Philip has been involved in have ranged in size from single-user utility applications to distributed, multi-user, real-time process control systems.  Philip has provided substantial consultancy input into the Queensland Department of Main Roads (Transmax) STREAMS system, an intelligent transport system deployed throughout Queensland. Philip has also developed database systems for the storage and analysis of environmental monitoring data.

Leona Kopittke is an Environmental Consultant with experience in environmental project development, planning and management, environmental research, assessment and reporting, as well as Environmental Impact Statements (EIS’s) and Baseline Studies.  She also has experience in office Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and has previously engaged in energy auditing and reporting. Leona holds a Science (Environment) degree from Griffith University and a Certificate of Environmental Management, from Monash University.

Clare Harding is Lloyd Consulting's Office Manager, with more than ten years experience in business management. Her role includes technical, publishing and communications support services to clients and staff, business administration and ensuring that the business operates within a quality Business Management System (BMS) in compliance with ISO9001:2000 standards.

Catherine Le is Lloyd Consulting's Office Administrator and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University.
