Seqwater Research Science & Technology Strategy
Seqwater is the bulk water supply provider to the south east Queensland region and is responsible for storage and treatment of water to high drinking water quality standards for the region’s growing population. As part of its budgeting for science and research activities, Seqwater is developing a high level document, the Research Science and Technology Strategy, which will provide the business cases for its five research programs:
- Water quality and reliability
- Optimising multi-barrier treatment
- Water and energy policy formulation
- Infrastructure performance and technologies
- Environmental obligations and performance.
In preparing the Strategy document, Seqwater has sought information graphics which illustrate ‘on one page’ the key elements of the Research program, its role in supporting Seqwater’s service delivery and the relationships with other key programs and initiatives, such as Healthy Waterways, the SEQ natural resource management plan underway in the region as well as national initiatives.
