In 2009, Lloyd
Consulting, Central Queensland Environmental Services and Central Queensland University undertook an assessment of the
environmental values of the Neerkol Industrial Precinct just outsode of
Rockhampton Qld for the Stanwell Coorporation. This assessment was undertaken to
support the approvals process for future industrial development within the
precinct. The project comprised an assessment of current knowledge,
consideration of regional context and field-based flora and fauna surveys.
